Why the need for Food Storage?

Often times I am asked about the need for food storage.  I have listed several reasons below why having some foods stored away, in your home is a good idea.  You never know what life will bring.

Why the Need for Food Storage?

·       Loss of a job due to the economy or illness
·       Loss of the breadwinner (death or divorce)
·       Food shortages
·       Trucking strike
·       Famine, drought or flood where the foods originate.
·       Collapse of the economy leading to the devaluation of the dollar
·       War or civil unrest and riots
·       Hyper-Inflation of foods or gas, can’t afford it anymore. The price of gas affects everything.
·       We have been told to have food storage by church leaders for over 70 years.
·       If a major disaster were to strike most stores would be EMPTY in a matter of hours.
·       Your neighbor will not have enough to feed her family and yours for very long, if she shares at all.
·       The church will only be able to feed a small percentage of its members.

·       Your children like to eat, and depend on you for everything.
